The Dulwich and District Twins Club is a support group run and funded by parents of twins and triplets across South East London. We offer expectant parent talks, nearly new sales, buddy schemes, a regular baby and toddler group and local events for families to attend alongside continuous communication and advice via our newsletters, this website and our email network.

All our members understand the highs and lows, the challenges amongst the joy, of expecting and being parents of twins and triplets and look forward to sharing our experiences with you.

So what have we been doing recently? The club rearranged its summer picnic to a lovely September Saturday, very well attended and enjoyed by all. The September Nearly New Sale was a great success with a record level of sales; we will see the Club donating £500 to the Premature Baby Unit at King’s.

Even more exciting has been the work we have undertaken after being awarded a grant from the ‘Awards for All’ lottery fund last year. This is the first time we have applied for funding and so is a huge leap forward for our club. We have been delivering since June a series of talks to parents of multiples from professionals on topics such as financial advice, speech development, school applications, weaning and healthy eating and managing behaviour. All have been well attended and on several talks there has been a waiting list! We are nearing the closing stages on the production of a high-quality multiple birth expectant parents pack with plenty of professional advice, but more importantly packed with information from local parents of multiples for new local parents of multiples with plenty of information on how and where to get support in South East London. 

Our website has been up and running for over a year, and the redesign with a new calendar and other features such as joining online through Paypal has helped raise our profile: we now have nearly 140 members.
