We run a baby and toddler group on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month, anytime from 10am to 11.45am, at the United Reform Church (at the top of Red Post Hill in SE24). Please refer to the Calendar for the upcoming schedule.
It’s a great place to meet up with other twin or triplet parents, with activities for all ages.
For those of you with newborns we create a safe place for the baby area and the parents with older children will make a cup of tea and coffee for you and chat whilst keeping an eye on their own children. The area is matted, kept separate from the toddler area by chairs and the Club has a range of toys to keep them amused and stimulated.
In the toddler area there is a large play area, with a range of Club toys on various tables and play vehicles, a slide and sandpit box. There are craft activities tables that then double up as a juice area for thirsty toddlers. The morning is ended with story and song time with a large range of Club instruments with which to play.
The church has free parking next to the hall and there is a space just inside for buggies. The hall is well equipped with toilets and baby changing facilities.
Mothers, fathers, other family members and expectant twin parents to be are welcome to come to the baby and toddler group. For members the cost is £2, and for non-members it is £3 – these just cover our refreshment costs!
